Portsmouth Golf Centre is a long established golf business which operates a Toptracer 21 bay driving range. Facilities also include a newly refurbished custom fit studio, golf store, teaching studio and Huxley putting green. Great Salterns golf course is on the same site and contributes to a large foot fall.
We have a vacancy for a trainee professional to join our team on an employed basis. This role will include retail hours operating in a shift system totalling approximately 38 hours a week over five days. The rota includes weekday evenings with the guarantee of one weekend day off each week, providing plenty of opportunities to play and coach.
As a trainee professional you will be supported in attaining an expert knowledge with the golf products we stock and providing expert advice to our customers. We have a strong heritage in custom fit and provide all the tools to help give our customers the best experience possible, including stocking all the main brands and using trackman 4. Customer service is at the heart of everything we do and a willingness to embrace this philosophy is essential.
As well as supporting you with advice and help through your PGA training from our four PGA professionals, we offer a competitive salary with potential progression to include monthly bonuses. You will also have use of a Proagenda diary and booking system as well as being provided with uniform. As an employee you will also be entitled to paid annual leave and pension contributions.
